Patient Care Associate (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Technician)

The Patient Care Associate (TMS Technician) is the primary point of contact for patients throughout their TMS treatment sessions. You will administer treatments, monitor patient response, maintain accurate documentation, and keep clinic operations running smoothly. This role blends technical precision with genuine human connection. You will receive hands-on training in TMS technology, grow your clinical support skills, and have a real impact on patient outcomes every day.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer TMS treatments following established protocols, ensuring accuracy and patient safety throughout each session
  • Set up, calibrate, and clean TMS equipment before and after each treatment
  • Monitor patients during treatment, observing for any changes in comfort or response and documenting accurately
  • Serve as a steady, approachable point of contact for patients, providing reassurance and support without overstepping into clinical or therapeutic territory
  • Communicate patient concerns, observations, or changes to the provider in a timely and appropriate manner, using good judgment to determine what warrants escalation
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation in line with clinic standards
  • Assist with general clinic flow, stepping in wherever needed to keep the day running efficiently


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional healthcare training or experience is a plus
  • Ability to work with a warm and personable approach and make decisions with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to maintain reliability, punctuality, and consistency.
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high urgency situations with professionalism and composure
  • Detail-oriented and safety-focused, with comfort following protocols and documenting with accuracy
  • A team player who jumps in where needed and contributes to a positive, professional clinic environment
  • Skilled in multitask effectively while still making each patient feel seen and cared for
